- Enter at Los Trancos and park near the southern end of the lot by the restrooms. You’ll see two trails leading down to the Historic District—take either one. Once you reach the beach, head to the southern end to find the tide pools.
- 🌊 Pelican Point – Family-Friendly Views
- This is a great intro spot if you’re bringing kids or just want easy access with beautiful views. It’s usually less slippery and a bit easier to navigate.

- Use the Pelican Point entrance, then turn right and park in Lot P-2. From there, hop on the boardwalk—it connects to a paved trail along the bluff that leads to a trail down to the beach and tide pools.

- This one’s for the explorers! If you visit during low tide, you can reach Little Treasure Cove, a secret sea cave that feels like a scene from a fantasy movie.

- Again, use the Pelican Point entrance, but this time go to the last parking lot. From there, it’s about a ½-mile walk along the bluff trail, then another ¼ mile along the beach to reach the pools at the northernmost end. Definitely worth the effort!
