- Follow the switchbacks for an easier climb before hitting the main flight of stairs leading to the fortress.
- Partway up, you’ll spot a stone “window” in the fortress wall. Climb through using the small ladder to join the main path to the fortress.
- Note: I’ve heard this connection is monitored during peak season and could be inaccessible
- On the way back down, take the official staircase for iconic views directly over Kotor Old Town.
